I agree, and will even venture to say that door locks and window locks won't prevent break-ins either, because there are lots of glasses on my house. I rather thieves break the lock rather than the glass.
The point is to add a more deterring elements.
Or I am thinking, if I absolutely want to put an end to the problem, maybe a nuclear solution is to set up 24x7 security video monitoring system around the property, have security videos continuously captured and uploaded via internet connection to be stored at a remote database. This way, if anything happens I have the footages.
It’s not nuclear. That’s pretty normal and the system that I have.
