Or I am thinking, if I absolutely want to put an end to the problem, maybe a nuclear solution is to set up 24x7 security video monitoring system around the property, have security videos continuously captured and uploaded via internet connection to be stored at a remote database. This way, if anything happens I have the footages.
It’s not nuclear. That’s pretty normal and the system that I have.

I suggest you get folks who house sitters to keep an eye on it, in exchange they watch your place and vacate when you need it!
