I'm looking for a way for my garage lights to turn on when I pull in my car. The garage light from the garage door opener is just not bright enough. Ideally if the motion sensor from the garage door opener can turn on the garage lights that would be perfect.

Any other solutions out there?

Yes there are, motion sensors or check the major Garage Door manufacturers.

I replaced my garage lights with LEDs and they stay on 24/7, so it's always light. The bulbs will last for many years and the cost is negligible.

If the switch for the lights is in the garage and faces the garage door, it's an easy "replace switch with a motion sensor switch".

If the switch is inside, you'd probably need to re-wire so sensor is in garage. Or, if switch is on a perpendicular wall in garage it may have a slight delay until the car comes within the field of the sensor.

There is one other option, change the switch to a smart switch and you can turn on lights with your phone- wi-fi.

^^ what he said

Adapt with an old clicker or buy all new components.
The same controls that raise the door can and will do the lights

the make motion detecting light bulbs sold on Amazon. They only come on when dark AND motion is detected, work great.
