Sorry forgot to add that in my laundry room there is a shelf but I will be putting in cabinets. I just prefer the clean look as opposed to having everything show.

Greenchili-Where are you building? Also, please keep us updated on how it goes after the first month or so..Any complaints, etc. Thanks

We are buying in Lompoc CA. Briar Creek, The Gardens. You can go
to Centex website and click on central coast and see the models
for here. We are taking plan 1 with the 4th bedroom option. The
prices here have dropped 4 times or so. Where are you building Himain?

I found out today that there is a train that has the right to run 24/7 and blow their horn at whatever hour they wish to when crossing a intersection. I'm a very light sleeper and can't/won't deal with this. I guess I'll be forfeiting my deposit and backing out of the deal.

Bummer! BUT, you should get your deposit back. Here in CA we can be
in escrow and still get it back. You arent even that far in the process and
the train thing should be a legitimate reason to back out! Dont let Centex
keep your $$
