I'd say the spare bedroom. Once your needs are met by the other rooms, you can really get creative with a room that's less utilitarian and more expression. It's part office, part lounge.
I truly don't think I have a favorite room . A house is just a house to me . I have never really been gaga over anything like a house or a certain room . I cant think im the only one who thinks that way .
well, i really like my house. i am very happy with it and i guess that is good because i paid a lot of money for it.
that being said, if it burned to the ground i would be just fine as long as my family is safe.
For us, we have two rooms where we spend huge amounts of time. The first is where we both are now, along with the 3 kitties. It’s a sun room which adjoins the living room and kitchen. The outer wall is 16 feet of glass looking out into greenery and our patio. We have a comfy couch and chair and several big kitty towers.
The other is our home theater room downstairs. We love watching movies and TV series in the evening and are there usually a couple hours each night.
I like my cabin in the woods. 200 square foot cedar cabin with knotty pine paneling, flooring, a brass bed, oak table, chairs and desk. It looks out into old second growth cedars and firs. There is also a USFS type fire pit and picnic table outside. It is my quiet spot.
so i moved to a house about a year ago. it is a pretty big upgrade over my last home. overall, the interior is great and i am very happy with the rooms. to me, this room is my favorite because it feels special. high ceiling, wall of windows and large. i sit in it watching tv and feel that i am living in a special house.
I wouldn't have a house without a kitchen or bathrooms, so those must be my favorite.
