Were you happy with the experience? Was the furniture easy to assemble? Did it meet your expectations?
We are looking to buy a shoe cabinet---particularly one that has a cushioned top where you can sit to put on and take off shoes.
I saw one on Wayfair that holds 12 pairs of shoes and has sliding doors that conceal the shoes. Plus it has a cushioned top for sitting. We have a good sized entryway in our apartment where a shoe cabinet would fit perfectly.
I have purchased 2 furniture items from Wayfair and am very pleased. I am now looking for another piece, which I found and then didn't buy when I should have at the very low "sale" price, it is now fluctuating higher and hasn't come near the sale price I missed. It is a specific chest, and there are thousands of them/brands to choose from. And they all go on sale at some point.
Have you looked at the item you want or have you decided on it? Once you find something you like, definitely click on it and read all the descriptive data, ie measurements, assembly required, and of course the reviews with comments.
I have looked at the details when it comes to that shoe cabinet. Also, looked at the reviews that other buyers posted.
My husband says he wants to see if we can find something in a store first before doing online ordering. If it were up to me alone, I would get the one from Wayfair
I've purchased two chests that I use as nightstands. They are GREAT! My daughter bought an area rug which was ok for awhile, but it was one of the cheaper ones as she was on a budget. I can't vouch for everything they sell though, I'd never buy sofa's or other upholstered furniture from them because I realize these wouldn't hold up well. IMO you just have to study the photos and specs to get a feel for how something is constructed, and read the reviews from people who didn't do that.
We've purchased a few basic things from them and been very happy. It's not high end by any stretch of the imagination, and the materials are often on the cheaper end of things but everything fits together well and the pieces actually look pretty good. I's a great place to get inexpensive area rugs.
Got the wrong color fabric and wrong style cushion and zero response but a reference to the small print which allows for substitutions.
That's some crazy fine print! So, you order a red sofa with rounded arms and they send a green sofa with square arms you're supposed to be OK with it? THAT's why I'm leery of ordering anything online that's bigger than the shipping bin at my local post office. If I can't easily return it, then I don't want to buy it online.
