EASLEY, S.C. -- An Upstate woman is accused of setting her house on fire the night before it was to be foreclosed.
Deputies said Andrea Leah Dalton Propes, 29, set fire to the home she shared with her husband and child.

There will be more of this happening I am afraid.
You are right... take the hit on credit... it is NOT the end of the world.
Now she has bad credit and a criminal record... Bloy, that will make it MUCH easier to rebuild her life after losing her home... (did you hear the sarcasm?)
