I didn't get the choice, I just got stuck with it because it was there.

I have mildly wondered from time to time what it looked like under there. My friend lives in the same type of unit in my complex, and her tub and surrounding tile looks pretty crappy.

If it turns out that they are going to have to remove the bath fitter thing to get at the water, I think I am going to get a price to get a normal tub etc. Actually, I would like to do what my friend did and do away with the tub altogether and just have a shower. I have lived there for nine years and never took a tub bath.

I totally agree and did the same when living in a Townhouse, had the tub removed and replaced with a nice size shower. Why step into a bathtub when we use the shower 99% of the time❗️

Not a fan of Bath Fitter, it’s basically a cover up and a band-aid approach improvement.
