We're on the fence about changing the color and we welcome your input.

After 15 color chips against the brick we chose this color. Whipple Blue, from Benjamin Moore.

Our neighbor loves it and says keep it. We didn't think it would be so bright. It's growing on us, but we're considering a darker blue, not quite navy but darker. TIA.

The color appears more turquoise than baby blue on my screen. I approve. I would enhance & make the turquoise richer by glazing them with a slight antique tint. If they are indeed baby blue in color, I would turquoise them up first then glaze.

I like it. The lighter blue brings out the blue in the brick, and lightens the entire house.

You said it's growing on you; why not keep it for awhile?

I vote a darker blue. Ironically, I painted a door the same color you painted your shutters, that I got for free off Craigslist that I made part of a privacy fence on my balcony. The color worked with the rugs in the room that you could see it from, so technically it should have worked, but it just always bugged me, even though I love that color. I ended up re-painting the door a dark brown to just match the wood fencing around it.

You could leave it alone, if you dont' want to deal with painting them again, and after all your neighbor likes it. But, if you're like me, it's going to bug you if you're on the fence about the color. And the color doesn't seem to really match the cloth awning I can see in the photo.

Nice house, by the way.

I don’t think the light blue works. Paint your shutters a deeper color. That’s my advice.

I'd go a richer, greener blue personally. Then I'd paint the front door a fun, contrasting color.

I think it looks a bit dated with the brick, sort of like the colonial color schemes popular in the 50s.

I also agree that it clashes with the existing awning.

It looks good to me. If I made any change it would be to make the trim color creamier by adding a touch of yellow.
