My toilet seems to be getting harder to flush , I have to push down harder on the handle , Ive looked inside the tank but I wouldn’t know what I was looking for anyhow , looks all normal to me , any idea if it could be a simple fix .

Clearly you need to get someone to look inside there who would know.
They'll start with the float height - that enough water to flush is in the tank.
Then they'll look at the handle to flapper connection - that it's opening fully/correctly.

Thank you , I guess I need to call a plumber , need one for something else too .
Start with your handiest neighbor/friend.
Sandwich and a beer gets it done.
Lol thanks , my neighbors are all as old as me , we’re lucky we can get to the toilet during the night let alone fix it , I do have a nice plumber though .
Just replacing the flapper may fix it. In operation they peel away from the outflow pipe and then float up a little. An old one might not release as easily.

My toilet was getting harder to flush. I replaced the flapper and that fixed the hard to flush problem. I did look at the flapper in my other toilet to count the links in the chain where I need to attach the hook. That way I didn't have to guess where I had to attach it.
