I bought the faucet from a demo “reclaim fixtures” seller. I could tell it was quality, however it needed cartridges. I did buy cartridges that didn’t work, but the guy who sold them went out of business and the installation failed. I bought a mid level grohe instread. I wanted to find the maker to value it for sale. I happened to find a picture of the exact faucet, but sadly, it’s a free stock image.
Take a mirror and inspect the back of the faucet. Sometimes companies place a logo there.
Places you should look include on the body of the faucet, on the escutcheon and on the spout. Look carefully because sometimes the logo can be very small.
Update. I actually found it. It’s obscure...and nice! DXV Randall Collection. Yep, you can still buy it for $677. Now I’m kinda bummed I didn’t get to install it. However, the cross handles were a little tight to the backsplash.
In the decorative plumbing world, that's low mid range. The company I represent starts at $400 and tops out at about $1500.
A faucet like that weighs about 8 lbs. If it were silver, it would cost almost $1700 for the material alone.
Agree, that is not the most expensive mid-range faucet by far. Most of Grohe and Rohl will be more than this. I kinda like that they are a smallish independent in the US. This faucet weighs in at 4-5 pounds and is made of brass. Knowing what it is helps me sell it. My contractor just said to sell it for $100. But I think I'll try to get the right cartridges for it and sell for $400. What would you suggest, knowing the market?
I like that its Grohe, and it has ceramic cartridges. I trust their products. But am also aware that its a more entry level product. Should I expect issues with it?
I’d guess Moen or Kohler. If it has heavy turn knobs it’s most likely a Koehler as they use brass. Cheap knock offs use pot metal that’s light.
I use Moen or Kohler. I don’t bother with anything else

It's called sarcasm!
I've seen just about all- I even had a customer that wanted a set of 24k plated faucets for a master bath, and another that had Swarovski crystal accented faucets.
But common sense goes a long way- it's a faucet in a bathroom! Who's gonna see it!?
