Installing a new roof. Carey shingles were asbestos. Certainteed and Timberline are the two that I am looking at. I'm wondering if there is any asbestos-related costs?

The EPA has very strict rules for the handling and disposal of asbestos-related products. And of course, there are high costs related to that handling and disposal.

If your roofing contractor is not a certified asbestos abatement contractor, you or him will need to hire someone who is to do the removal.
