As for the U by Moen smart faucet, we will probably hold off on it unless we move, where we will buy it for our next house.

I’ve been doing “trade downs” every time I upgrade. Have yet to have a TV die on me in 10+ years.

It’s amazing that as I buy new TVs they are bigger, better and cheaper than what I had before. My 2008 52” went from the living room in one house to the bedroom in another to now my younger son’s gaming room. Still works fine but weighs 2x as much as the new ones and is a lot thicker!

The only exception to the trade down rule is when I moved, my 80” 1080p Sharp (bought from Costco in 2014) doesn’t fit on the main floor anymore so now that I have a basement I set it up in a “media room” area with a couple of old sofas, and my surround sound gear - most of which dates back 15 years. That TV weighs 130 pounds and I hope I never have to move it again.

I hired a guy to stain the replacement fence I had put up last fall. I am painting bookshelves. I replaced the outlets for my central vac. I am eyeing my deck floor boards and thinking about flipping them over.

Installing a new fiberglass pool and a huge concrete patio beside the pool. Then it's planting 20 arborvitae's on the back fence for privacy. Also will have 5000 square feet of sod to lay after the final grading is done to the yard.

Insurance paid for one porch to screened in so we had the other one done. Its wonderful not to have to worry about mosquito's and be able to sit outside.

Rearranged lower level family room, replaced front door knob, cleared out a bunch of overgrown vines things on the right side of the house visible kind of from the street. Need to call a siding contractor soon to get 50' of gable trim installed & a shutter reinstalled from a wind storm we had a couple of weeks ago, not enough work for insurance claim.

My husband installed a ceiling fan in our guest bedroom and will be putting up pendant lights in the kitchen this weekend. He is also working on getting a new electrical outlet put into our stairwell.

We have finally organized our garage with a bike rack and clearly marked storage bins.

A company came out last week to put up a backyard fence.
