Did anybody notice that that's a screwless plate?


And I don't think I've ever seen an over-sized screwless plate.

Correct, so hopefully the screw heads are less offensive to the OP than the gap!

And it appears the wall paint to the left of the receptacle (with screws) needs to be touch up, with paint!

And the receptacle plate has one screw slot nearly vertical and one horizontal. That hurts my eyes.

The most important rule when installing plates... align the screws! NOT OPTIONAL!

There is usually an under plate or frame held on by screws, and the outer plate snaps onto that.

Thank you all for the kind suggestions. We got a larger sized switchboard but that won’t cover the whole area too :-( Getting the paint is our best option like many of you suggested. Thankfully we have the paint details saved.
