Disgusting to the max! My husband makes a loop of wire that goes on the shepherds hook to hold it. I got two "Walmart" bags and slipped one over the end while he was taking the wire off and we just let it drop down into the first bag and tied the top. We then put it in a second bag and tied that one. We threw the entire thing in the trash as it was garbage day. No other idea how one would dispose of this differently. If you have a better idea let me know.

One of the drawbacks of a nice suburban house with a smallish lawn is that you have no control over what your neighbors are doing with their yard.

Maybe one of the neighbors is breeding mosquitoes and sharing. Maybe someone is providing an attractive place for flies to breed and everyone close by gets flies.

At least these flies aren't on me with this.

Here is my bag after a little under 2 weeks. It's pretty packed. It has a bunch of large flies that have yellow on them.

Just had to come back and say, Our fly trap is nauseatingly gross! It is now filled will flies and maggots swimming in the fly soup. GAG! At least these things work and I am going today to get a new bag because I can't stand looking at it.

im going to add another couple around the perimeter. i like seeing them fill up. the traps are about 30+ feet away from people and behind a tree line so nobody sees or smells them.

I used a rescue fly trap for the first time this summer. It works very well but its truly gross. I couldn't stand the smell or looks of it after two weeks and pitched it. I don't know what they use in the packet that mixes with water, but its powerful.
