It seems like Moen is trying to be a little creative, but I think this might be a bit of a gimmick, and I am a loyal Moen customer. I think people care more about more useful features as well as styling. I don't expect this will be on the market for very long.
On reread, it occurred to me that this is probably a textbook example of Carlin's Law: "If you nail together two things that have never been nailed together before, some ****** will buy it."
Flashlight: a cylindrical plastic container used to store dead batteries until disposal.
Bunk: Nautical lore.
Bar: def. a: A submerged geological barrier composed of sand, rock, or mud.
def. b: A long flat stationary furnishing of a room usually composed of varnished, highly polished wood.
Sailors can often be found clustered in great numbers around both.

Wow, and here I thought shower heads just sprayed water on you. Some of y'all spend too much time in the shower, is what I think.
a co-worker of mine, who had just bought a home (on the same street three doors down from her ex-husband after they got divorced) (with everyone at work asking "why") (she said she "liked the neighborhood") . anyway one day at work she was going on and on about this great new showerhead she was getting and of course people are asking what's so great about it (we had an open seating arrangement at work, about 20 of us in an open area so really everyone heard every conversation about everything) and she said it was a lighted showerhead. i still can't get over that. who wants to shine a light on themself in the shower, and bathrooms already have lights.
I was wondering, what do you think about Moen's Aromatherapy showerhead?

Well, maybe her bathroom has only CANDLE-lights ...
Some people take bath with candles and Champaign... and she wants a dream spa with mood lights.

I know Kohler offers a Rose Gold finish on some of their products. Kohler is decent as well as Delta, although Moen is my top pick. Right now I am just sticking with brushed nickel (our house is mostly Delta fixtures installed by the builder, but I have my Moen Engage showerhead for my bathroom).

Hang a solid shower curtain liner, add a fabric curtain on top, and unless you have a light in the shower, the shower can be dark. It’s harder to shave your legs in the dark.
I’ve never had a light overhead in the shower ever. Which is why I always choose clear vinyl shower curtains. With no over curtain at all. A lighted showerhead might help brighten things up a little.
