This may sound like a really stupid question (I've never used a leaf blower), but how do you manage to not blow leaves into your neighbor's yard?

In some cases that would require you to go in your neighbor's yard.

If you want to keep an acre property surrounded by very big trees clean in the fall it's going to be easier if you spew out some toxins.

How big is your property?

But, not the point.
You could buy a Stihl battery leaf blower and not annoy the neighborhood.

Are you worried about blowing leaves into your neighbors' yards, or simply standing in their yard? If the latter, I'm sorry that you have such picky neighbors

haha, of course its not the point. you are being all high and mighty over a product you would have no need for anyway. my neighborhood isnt annoyed by my leaf blower, we have large properties. in any case, this forum isnt for people to give their moral arguments against gas powered equipment. not everyone has that issue and if they dont, they should be recommended the best tool for the job. when it comes to leaf blowing, more power is better.

My dad has the Stihl battery...it's weak. Works ok for grass clippings on the sidewalk, little more.

My wife uses the EGO. It's not much quieter than a gas model, because it moves air.

A power tool is best determined by the specific task that you are looking to accomplish.

My previous house was best suited for a backpack blower for weekly use while our current home is more than manageable with an Ego battery blower, so it really depends on the intended use in determining the most efficient and adequate blower, mower, string trimmer, etc.

Can we assume you have all electric house and electric cars, which may be powered from coal fired power plants?
