Cordless vacuum for carpet stairs

We have a Tineco A10 we bought from Amazon on a "Deal of the Day" $60 off and love it. Its much lighter and cheaper than others we have looked at. It has a million attachments. A part broke (we dropped it) and they immediately sent a replacement part at n/c. Great vacuum and nice and light and powerful. We will buy another for my mother in law.

We bought a Tineco A11 back in June and have been really pleased with it. We have all hardwoods and tile downstairs, but we do have 3 large area rugs. We also have a long haired dog and the vacuum handles it with ease. Ours came with 2 batteries, which is good because we can do 95% of the job with one battery before it gives out and we need to switch to the second. Our Dyson upright is now stored upstairs for the carpeted bedrooms.
