Let's get some info:

How often will you use it?

What do you usually cook on a grill?

Are you the type that generally takes care of things, so this will be kept covered when not in use, free of debris in the lava rock/burners, etc.?

We have a Weber, but TBH the amount we use it and for what things we cook we may as well have gotten a cheaper one. OTOH, this Weber will probably be the last one we'd ever have to buy.

Based on our experience, Weber.

Anything under about $500 is going to be semi-disposable. By that, I mean 4-5 years, with some replacement parts in between. Mine is a Chargriller dual fuel, with gas on the left, charcoal on the right.
It was on sale for $299 4 years ago, and while I love the versatility I have had to replace the "heat plate shields" twice, at a cost of $19.99 (Amazon). I cannot use the warming shelf without a pan or foil, it's totally rusty.

The grill before that was close to $500 and while I don't remember the make, the bottom rusted out in 5 years. We are in a wet climate, but I have always kept them under cover. The only real difficulty with changing them out every 5 years or so is the time spent taking them apart and then a trip to the dump.

It looks like Weber's cheapest is the E330.

But reading all over the place, it looks like Weber is probably the best and the other 2 has mixed reviews.

I found the following with side-burners -
1. NexGrill - $199
2. Char Griller - $189
3. Weber Spirit E330 - $629

But wouldn't you come out cheaper even if the lower-end ones come for 4-5 years and then I have to replace it?

Any reason why I should pay higher and go for the Weber?
The Weber units are very well-made, but we've done okay with a 4-burner Char-Broil. You can get replacement parts for any of the gassers.

Stay away from the Nexgrill brand. We bought one based on a Consumer Reports rating and discovered it was flimsy junk. Returned it in exchange for a Weber and are now satisfied serial grillers.

Weber cooks better and has replaceable parts. It will last forever.

Weber is the Rolex of grills. If you can afford it, pay it.

We bought the smallest gas one years ago, still solid as a rock.

If you’re going to spring for a Weber, get the Genesis and not the Spirit. We made the mistake of buying the cheaper Spirit model, and while it’s much better than the cheaper brands, it’s not near the quality of the Genesis that should last you 10 years or more.

You might look on Craigslist or Facebook marketplace - I’ve seen some good deals on used grills from people who were moving and couldn’t take it with them.

$10 will get you a cover that won't even make it a year. Been there done that.

I have a weber genesis that is 21 years old. It still works great. Get the stainless grill bars and flavoriser bars and they just keep going.
