March 1st, I ordered propane. They said it would be delivered sometime between March 1 and 15 (tomorrow). Gas hasn't shown up, but I see they charged my credit card on March 2.
Is it legal for them to charge weeks before delivery?
I'm calling them tomorrow to make sure they're actually going to show up; my tank is getting low.
Propane is often bought months in advance. The propane is yours, even if it hasn't been delivered. Calling them and requesting delivery (again) is the best option. If you don't get it and run out, find a different supplier. FWIW, around here they are having a near impossible time trying to find delivery drivers that are qualified, pass the drug screening, and aren't working in other areas of trucking. The job is dangerous and not overly paid.
Gas delivered today. Driver said he and at least one other driver had had covid.
