We tried overnight Easy Off and got zero results. Brasso got noticeable but minor results. It's likely an aluminum pan and sand paper would work but might make the surface more vulnerable to heat and the black substance that ends up on the pan after use.

Fine sandpaper sanding blocks work well and are safe for “uncoated” baking tins and sheets and they are available in most hardware or paint stores and Home Depot or Lowes.
Is this a special pan? You seem to be going through a lot of hassle just to clean it. I mean how ‘dirty’ can it be?? Are you sure it’s not seasoned by use?
Pizza stones get stains as well, and are more delicate.
Pizza pans are a buck at Dollartree. When I don't like the look of one of mine it gets re-purposed or tossed.
If you like your pizza more like bread than crusty and are willing to cook at 400 or less, you could use a silicone baking sheet and not worry about the crud.

Pizza pans made of aluminum are cheap. Try soaking it in warm soapy water overnight, and don't use aggressive pads to scrub them. Do as turf3 indicated. He (or she?) gave you the best answer in this thread. Besides that, the dark-gray residue found in aluminum pans is aluminum oxidation, so in a way you are consuming some of it with the foods you kook on it.
Pizza stones, and steel pizza pans are better than aluminum pans, and so are ceramic-coated pizza pans. Something else: once you sand or scrub-off the shiny surface of any pan, regardless of kind of metal it is made off, the more the food will stick ti it. That's why the cleaning instructions indicate that one should soak the pan and to avoid scratching the surface (sand paper, scrub pads, etc., all can make things worst).
That’s a crisper pan. There’s really no need to get all of that black off, if that is what you were trying to do. If it is, then just get some steel wool and scrub the hell out of it.

I’ve had my pizza stones (and other stone ware) for almost 20 years...they’re not that delicate and that staining? It’s called ‘seasoned’
