My HVAC system keeps short cycling in any mode - AC, Heating, or Fan. The Zone Board HZ322 displays AC Voltage Insufficient as the unit turns off and for about 10 seconds there is no power to the Zone Board and the Transformer that powers the zone board reads 0.00 . Then power comes back to the Zone board and the fan starts again after a minute or 2 before it shuts off again (when the fan is running the transformer reads 26.0), and the same thing repeats. Any idea what's going on?
This problem seems to be quite common…
The solution is not so…
From what I have gathered it looks like there is three areas/things of concern. The board itself, the wiring between the control board and the t/stat, and the capacitor on the condenser unit.
Perhaps the better thing to do is call a professional tech!
Thanks for your reply. I changed the transformer that powers the HZ322 (zone board). It seems to have fixed the problem.
