GE makes LED light bulbs where the packaging explains the different types of light you will get from them. Look for 5000 kelvins. Bright white. I prefer the bright white bulbs for outdoor lighting too.

I bought a dusk-to-dawn bulb for my outside light and didn't realize it came in two tones. I bought the cool white. Well it was bright but it also looked blue, and of course looked weird next to my neighbor's light. I returned it and got the "warm", no idea what kelvins they are. Doesn't look yellow.

People have different preferences. I personally prefer very white light - I don't light the warm tones.

Get one of those new programmable bulbs. You can make it whatever tone/shade of white you want (or any other color).

For what you are looking for, I woudl slip in a little but of the blue spectrum
