Yes. Of course. Not sure that everyone thinks of that as "big bucks". Simply part of the cost of owning a pet.

This is one of the best, for cats, I think. At $124 for 6 months, that is pretty cheap.

Yep. I would set water traps for them. Large shallow pans of water. They would jump in and couldn't swim out. I would just flush them down the toilet.
