What type of carpet protectors do you use and recommend?
We have the small ones that are round, square, some hard rubber, some plastic and some have small teeth on the bottom to grip.
There are some 3.5 inch and 7 inch sliders which put a larger indention but spreads the weight a little more than the smaller ones.
Thanks.

I use the plastic bottom sliders for my carpeted upstairs MBR. I size according to the furniture: smaller ones for the cherry end tables and larger ones for the full bed. I guess they're a sufficient size because I can move the full bed easily even with the box spring and mattress on it. Mine don't leave any real indentations, but my carpet is more of a Berber-type too. All of my furniture downstairs has felt-bottom rubber cushioned sliders so I can move it easily on the hardwood floors.
