Along with a dog, I wrote that I’d want someone to take out the trash and put gas in my car, but deleted it, because the way some people are on this site, I figured I’d get chastised for listing a human when the title asks for things. You know how people can be. UGH.
It never bothered me to do those two things, until about 2 or 3 years ago. No idea what that’s about. LOL
Laundry chutes and dumb-waiters are a thing of the past, because they are against building code. I just happen to be lucky enough to have a house (built in 1948) that has a laundry chute and absolutely love it. A dumb-waiter is another good wish.
My cousins and I used to pile blankets and pillows in the basement of our grandparent’s house so we could jump into the laundry chute on the second floor and end up in the basement. That fun ended when one of my cousins broke his arm. I can see why laundry chutes are against code.
Never gonna get it now! Then again, don't think about as much here in the tropics, lol.
A big center island for the kitchen is a unrealizable dream.
