I thought a hot tub would be nice. I probably wouldn't use it very much, but it would be nice. Maybe 3-4 times a year. I have a BIG pool about a mile away. It has waves and everything. Fish/ boats. (Currently, there's crude oil there too. UGH.)
Secret rooms/passages. I don't care what they're for or where they go, it would just be cool.
Also, an "old man" library, with floor to ceiling bookshelves, an oversized desk, a plush reading chair in the corner, a giant globe, a bar cart, some snooty art on the walls.
I have the ocean frontage (Maui) but wish for a second bedroom/bathroom. Moving to a condo with both would cost an additional 300k, minimum, and the maintenance fee would also rise several hundred dollars per month.
We could move across the street with no ocean-view but that would not be worth it. I worked for 40+ years to be able to afford this view.

Book collecting particularly when you get into first edition, first printing and signed (by author &/or illustrator) gets expensive, but so worth it. Its like collecting a piece of history.

YES! I’ve sent pictures to the project managers at work, telling him that they could build an office for me like that. Seeing as how I’m low (wo)man on the totem pole, that will never happen, but it makes them chuckle.
I have a lot of books at home and dream of custom bookcases and a rolling ladder.
If you can make it a little further south, you can have your ocean frontage for cheap....
Plus a maid, pool and 2 full bathrooms, lol.

More outlets! House was built in the 50's and there just aren't enough electrical outlets (especially where I want them of course)
