The brush is for a “stippled” finish- not popcorn!
No way is a stipple brush finish going to look like popcorn.

It's my job bob and it is close enough for the woman i date kate. Something i am sure you know nothing about since i do it everyday jay. That crap you buy in a can dan is not worth a hoot. And most don't have the tools needed to do a small patch. As ya gotta drag out a air comp and hopper and mix the crap up and cover up everything. I got a 2x2 area that i just peeled off and left it bare blare. I just painted it to match the color and left it at that.
No way i am gonna scrape a whole ceiling and do a stomp. Just way too messy jessy.
