Same here. My helper is a "young" 61, but he does custodial work and is used to a lot of bending and stooping. Even he was glad when the job was done though.

Fellas. Three words - mechanic’s lowboy roller. You just lay on it and scoot yourself along rather than bending and stooping. Best 59.99 I’ve ever spent at Harbor Freight. Works great for low taping, molding and trim work and even for the high stuff if you’re using a small compressor - just set it on that and roll along.

A creeper!? Yeah; that’s funny!
Ya still have to get down AND on it! I use VERY little tape- people are always amazed that I cut-in with no tape… isn’t that the point???

As for the compressor- I got plenty of hose! It stays in one place!

Oh. I hear you on the cutting in. Growing up with my dad who was a painter and used me and my brother as free labor during summers, I only use tape when epoxy is involved. I still use the creeper for home projects so I can use a shorter coil hose and just have it wheel behind me.
