How big is the usual or proper size for a fridge for a 1bedroom apartment?
I'm renovating a 1bed apartment, and need to buy appliances before renting it out to tenants.

As a retired widower, I would not be happy with anything less then 10 cu ft, if not more. If there were 2 of us, than at least 13 cu

What size space is available for the location of the fridge? That seems likely to drive the decision.

More generally, unless this is a tiny urban apt. with a tiny kitchen, most folks expect a full size fridge, not gourmet with built-in ice, etc., but regular sized.

Actually. The pizza box test is a good one. If it can fit the box for a large pizza in the fridge, that size is the right size. Nothing more annoying than that.

One of those worldly questions…
If you buy/have deliveried a fresh, hot pizza don’t you eat it right then and there? Then if there’s any leftovers, why can’t it be put into a smaller container that will easily sit on a fridge shelf with many other items?

Laziness is definitely a 1st world problem!
