So we sorta had a little microwave mishap over the weekend
where some food was very very very well done.
No fire, microwave didn't burn down.
House was just really really smokey.
The microwave is a countertop that sat in a kitchen cabinet.
There is a little strip of wood, maybe 2ft wide that was under the microwave.
That little strip of wood has a burnt odor that I cannot remove.
Replacing the strip is not an option.
I've tried to wash or scrub down with vinegar.
I've sprinkled baking soda over it.
I've made a baking soda paste which I applied over the strip of wood.
The odor isn't as bad as before but it's still there.
I'd say from 1-10 it's maybe a 4?
Is there anything else I can try to do to remove or eliminate the odor?
