Noisy/quiet refrigerator

The only noise our fridge makes is filling the ice maker. I never hear it running. Oddly enough I never hear the ice dump either, but it does so.

But you're not correct. It's a Frigidaire.

i have a Frigidaire and it does make different sounds.

The clunks sound like the noise mine make when the new ice is made and drops into the bin.

It did go out once during a power outage - did not come back on, but I just unplugged it for a minute and once I plugged it back in - it reset itself.

They're there. There might be a pan placed just in front of the coils. You should be able to push a brush past it.
