Yea, but real hardwood. That is you have to have it stained and varnished or just varnished after laying it. I have mostly tile with some carpet. Tile is very hard on the feet and requires lots of cleaning. Wood floor just vacuum and dry mop though I would want kitchen and entry ways tiled. My first house had real hardwood floors. I just loved those floors.
