Any experience with Home Warranty contracts?

does the home warranty cover everything inside the house,you mention toilet problem?
Never heard of a home warranty which covers roof,foundation,water pipes,gas pipes,electric wiring,A/C,furnace,water heater,appliances>like dishwasher,toilets?lawn sprinkler?
Usually there is a waiting period .

We get warranty from some company thru our utility company CNG,but it does not cover everything,you can take out one for water heater,one for gas lines,one for water pipes.
as for appliances,you have to find one yourself .
I get a new water heater ,the local contractor tried to scam me by selling me some hoses for 10 times more than shown on AMZN
