Part of 'growing up' is realizing what your time is worth and when to let someone else do the hard stuff. When I was a young (pretty poor) airman it was worth my time to change the oil in the car, even replace the starter myself. Now I pay for things like that, or re-decking the deck because my time is worth more to me and my joints will also thank me the next day.
I don't have those skills and if I tried I would end up setting it on fire.
Can you clarify this statement? Because I don't understand why you couldn't build a stick-frame structure any size you want.
Simple. I chose not to pay a building contractor to design/build a custom stick built garage that would squeeze into the available space. The assemble-on-site Tuff Shed was economical and just large enough to shelter my car. Turned out to be a good decision. Transferred for another job and sold the house 3 years later. One reason it sold 20 minutes after it hit the market was the existence of that completed Tuff Shed. The buyer also preferred some sort of garage but research had revealed the lot wouldn't accommodate one of standard dimensions.

I went to the Gorilla Shed website. They look like they're built well-enough.
Wow. That's the going rate for sheds these days? Ugh.
I had a small one (6x8) built for me by the Amish -- granted many years ago -- even hand built on-site wasn't anywhere near those prices.....windows and ramp included.
Even if you include the crush run gravel base I had built for it it was even 2K.

As was once said in a movie 'A man needs to know his limitations'. Some of it I learned with the help of friends, a lot by going to the library (before the internet) the point is eventually I advanced enough that my time became more important than the dollars it cost to have the work done. The 'growing up' part is realizing the relationship between the two.

Key phrase there is 'many years ago'
