We once fought those small european cockroaches. And after a month, I still was infested.

When I want to get rid of any critter or bug, I go to BUGSPRAY.COM

https://bugspray.com/cockroach-contr...of-cockroaches

The little tubes in this kit are far stronger than any pest control outfit is allowed to use. I put a small dollup on each side of my refrigerator and on each side of the dishwasher. Came out the next morning, and there were cockroaches all over the kitchen floor dead.

Bugspray.com is the real deal. An ex-exterminator that has a huge mail order business. And he writes incessantly about pests and critters--and how to get them out of your life.

I use them, they work.........but you probably need a systemic-approach that includes proper
application of pesticide, removal of all food/water sources, exposure and treatment of
hidden areas where these filthy, disgusting things hang-out.

Put the roach-tables in every switch-box, electrical-outlet, nook/cranny you can access.

Roaches die after they walk through the insecticide. They ingest the poison when they groom themselves. This is why it takes a few days for them to die. The stuff our bug man uses has pyrethrum, which is relatively safe for humans….supposedly.

Ok I'm sprinkling diatomaceous earth but I notice the roaches zip around it. Maybe I should put bait in the middle of the earth?

I will check it out.
I have the ultra sticky pads and they get quite a few of the critters but I gotta do better than that.

They sure are ugly. I'd have to psych myself up to find beauty in them. Yuk.

Whenever using boric acid, diatomaceous earth or other powder for insects you don't want to lay things down with a heavy hand. Roaches will just avoid what they see as huge mounds of stuff in their way. In short you want a slight dusting, not a heavy layer or clumps.

Ideal application is to use some sort of puffer or otherwise lay down a fine layer of powder. This way bugs cannot readily detect, will walk over same, then stuff can work as intended.

You're better off fine tuning your boric acid or diatomaceous earth application which is a passive way of killing roaches than using those tablets.

Harris Roach tablets like other baits will work, but problem is same as with attempting to poison other vermin such as rats or mice; you have to get them to eat the stuff.

Beauty of boric acid or DE is that when applied properly bugs will walk over the stuff, it clings to their bodies, then they either ingest it when grooming and or it works way into their exoskeleton.
