I remember those mirror wall "tiles" that people would cover a wall with. Some had patterns in them like a gold lacy filigree. Seemed to go out of style very quickly. Same thing with mirrored sliding doors over bedroom closets. The photos always looked so beautiful, but reality was a reflection of the unmade bed, pile of dirty laundry in the chair, and dust bunnies under the bed.

Sorry for the delay everyone. It has been absolute H-E-L-L getting the mirror transported. Many have tried and many have failed.

But after much frustration, it has finally been transported successfully.

Will upload photos tomorrow morning.

What will you do with it if you want to move to a different house someday? Will you go through the time and expense to move it? Will you try to sell it? Or will you leave it behind?

If it is propped against the wall, how will you clean around it if it’s too heavy to move?

Thank you. Are you interested in opinions if they aren't completely positive? Or should I go by the golden rule of "if you can't stay anything nice"?

Well, I certainly do like the line of .....I forget what they are.... are they carvings? Etchings? along the top. I really like that. But I am pretty sure I would not like having to see the endless reflection of my entire house like that.

I would have liked that line of art atop a book case there instead.

It's a very pretty room anyway, has a nice airy feel all through, I have an open plan myself and love it.

Do you like it? That's what matters.

PS Hopefully you don't have a lot of company or parties because I can see that someone is going to walk into that thinking it's an archway into another room, sooner or later.

It almost gives the room a loft-like feel.

I love the effect. It turned out really well and the art work lined up on the top looks wonderful.

Funny thought that some one would watch themself walk towards themself and then try to walk through themself.

I suppose it could happen if they were drunk or stoned enough.
