The following recall has been announced: About 414,000 television stands, made in the United States by Sauder Woodworking Co., because they can collapse if the fasteners connecting the legs to the lower shelf are not completely tightened. The company has received 43 reports of the stands collapsing. In three instances, someone was hurt trying to prevent a television from falling. Injuries included a broken arm, a torn rotator cuff and a concussion. The stands were sold at Wal-Mart and on the store's Web site between January 2005 and May 2007.
