They sure ain't the first. Several large builders have beaten them to it already. And make no mistake about it....there are several more to come before this depression is over with.

I saw today that DR Horton lost like 33 million dollars last year. I didn't get all the details but it's the second year for a loss for them. They are a big builder in Texas, I don't know about the rest of the country. I guess we really are in a depression, as much as our fearless leaders refuse to say so.

Another builder in NC closed the doors-Pierce Builders.
A great site to watch is the Implode O meter site. Brilliant , young kid started it, builders ,bankers, mortgage com. and more. I go through it several times a day and in fact when one builder closed up in my city a little while back leaving some homeowners holding the bag the Implode site had that builder closing before anyone knew it here.
He and his buds keep on top of things.
He was offered some bucks from a buyer for that site. Sure hope he does not sell.
