I own a 1972 Jim Walter home (original floor plan was Ranch style). Home is brick and includes a master suite addition that was added in 2004. I need help with remodeling the rest of the home. Any information or pics would be appreciated.

That's a very vague request. Remodel what, paint??, rebuild, redo the kitchen?????what kind of remodel??? You need to be more specific on what kind of remodel and put in pics of what you have now and what do you want to accomplaish. then you will get lots of opinions.

Like Shane said. It is impossible to answer your question based on no information.

What are you wishing to do?

First, welcome to the forum. I have to agree with the rest of the crowd that you have not provided enough information on what you want to do with the house. Also need to know it's location (country, subdivision [if so, does the sub have HOA, what will your covenants let you do?], in town?). Jim Walter homes were designed and built to a low price point, there is probably a limit on what you want to do with it, how much money to sink into it, or you will never be able to recover your costs when/if you sell. Current condition, and how well or poorly the addition was done.

Also need to know your plans as to how long you'll live there.

# of people in your family, do you entertain guests in large numbers, also helps figure out what makes sense and what don't.
