I hope someone can help. My aunt called me and said that she has crickets coming in from somewhere in the basement and they just won't stop. She lives on a farm and they have had a lot of rain. She said she finds about 7 or 8 a day and it is getting to be too much to constantly carry them outside and they are making their way upstairs. Does anyone know how to get rid of them?

It is ver common for crickets to get in walls in some areas.Often brick homes that have weepholes in the brick ar the culprit as to how they get in; but any opening will do. It more common in couttry areas than cities of couirse. She proably needs to check on a exterminator.

Buy a couple of lizards and let them loose in the area. They'll take care of 'em in no time. Cheaper and safer than chemical extermination, too!

Set a few glue traps down now. They just came in from the rain. Clear grasses and under bushes around the house.

Aren't they just ANNOYING when they get inside? It is hard to fathom how something so small can make such a loud noise.
