hiya the tenants upstairs accidentally left a tap on resulting in a flood, and causing my ceiling downstairs to get damp.

now there is white fuzzy foam stuff on the cieling and on the boxing of a girder,

anyone got any idea what it could be? it couldnt be asbestos right?


any help appreciated

That's white mold depicted above.

If you have mold growing on your ceiling sheetrock you probably want to have something done about that.
