I have the same washer as you do and my wife came into the laundry room and it was filled with smoke, the drum was not spinning. She turned off the washer and waited for me to get home. I turned the washer back on and it finished it's last cycle (rinse). No squeaks and no smoke this time. Any suggestions??? I don't have the manual or diagrams to take it apart but figured i'd ask for any suggestions.
Does your machine have the stainless steel drum??? Mine does and i am not sure if that makes a difference.
