they don't need to cut down on staff. their products are recieved from the same location that online retailers recieve from.

to the op: ive used AJ Madison before. They're good and prices are pretty much lower. AJ Madison: Appliances, Refrigerators, Cooking Ranges, Ovens, Stoves, Washers, Dryers, Dishwashers, Air Conditioners & Much More!
i can try to find other sites for you if needed

There are advantages and disadvantages of buying stuff online. One has to check them carefully and make the decision. Budget, convenience, time are the main things one should consider while making choice between local and online stores.

Default about buying online

I'm looking to buy a new Jenn-Air slide in electric range. All things being equal I'd rather buy locally of course. I will always ask if local dealers can match the online stores and if it's within a certain amount I'll buy locally. But if there's a big difference in price, are there good reasons to go locally? If I buy online and something breaks within warranty, who does the repairs? Can online stores be trusted? Does anyone know if these stores have ratings one can trust? Is there enough to make a decent sample and can we be reasonably sure the stores themselves didn't generate the feedback.
Thanks,
Al

Local stores will only match the price with other local stores located within certain miles. Their price match policy will specifically mention this. I was planning to buy from an online store but then I decided to buy from a local store to avoid problems like delivery, warranty, service plan etc. You can buy from an online store after checking reviews. There are some very good stores. You need to talk to the sales person or customer service agent to find out about shipping methods, return policy (some charge restocking fees), warranty, service plan etc.

The two local stores I asked gave me a price but couldn't get near enough to the new jenn-air I'm getting from HomeEverything. I actually could have gotten it a bit cheaper from another online reseller but I liked HomeEverything better. They're supposed to deliver it today.
Thanks for your input,
Al
