Jeanne Thomas was sitting at her desk at work when she decided to check the security camera that she installed in her home. The Thomas home had been burglarized before, so she installed a monitoring device where she can watch a live video feed of the camera in her home.
Home Invasion: the crime of entering a private and occupied dwelling, with the intent of committing a crime, often while threatening the resident of the dwelling. (nobody was home, so this media-applied shock factor is not even appropriate)
Robbery: larceny by threat of violence (again, no violence was threatened or used, nor was the attempted theft in the presence of the individual being stolen from, so this word is not applicable either)
Burglary: The breaking and entering, with no personal threat involved and usually no confrontation between burglar and victim. (bingo)

And the guy eating the cheese.
Oh, jeez.
