If you're referring to those gadgets that you can plug into an outlet, we had them for bugs and mice when we lived in PA and they just didn't make any kind of difference. However, maybe scenarios are different in other parts of the county where there are palmettos and other cockroaches, etc. In PA we had only spiders and ants and a very crickets, and they were present with or with out the sonic gadgets.

I've tried them and as far as I can tell they do help FYI, but it's no cure-all.

I knew a girl in Tyler, TX who had the "ultrasound emitter that was unbearable to unwanted pests but harmless to pets". She also had hamsters that didn't seem to care. And roaches.

Not exactly a scientific observation, but compelling enough for me to keep my money in my wallet.

Default electronic bug controllers

I have them and love them. 2 different co-workers swore by them, so I bought some when I moved into my rental house. Other than 1 little crawly thing, I think came in on my shoe, I haven't seen anything since I moved in in February. And I have a cat who loves to play with bugs, so if there's one in the house, she's chasing it. Even spiders, though I did find a cobweb on the ceiling the other day. got mine at Wally-world I think they're black and decker??? it is a package of 5, plus I bought another 2 pack, because I was told to put 1 close to every window/door and wanted an extra in the kitchen.

Don't work. I saw a mouse walk right up and sniff one.

I use them for bugs. I picked mine up at Lowe's, don't remember the brand, but they've been working. I have a doggie door, so I was always getting spiders coming in, and I haven't seen any in months. You need to be strategic in their placement, as the signal won't go through/around any objects, so I had to rearrange my couches so the unit could be plugged into an outlet directly facing the doggie door.

I have found that they cut down, but not eliminate the problem.
