Left a small Dixie cup on a red postcard on top of the light oak cabinet. Cup leaked now there's a red square stain on the wood. What's the best way to take care of this?

Question Perhaps wood bleach?

Hrmm, I want to hear this answer too. We have a currently unfinished oak panel door in our bathroom that my teenage daughter splattered with red hair-dye

I've not worked with the variety of wood bleaches out there, but perhaps that is an option? You'd likely have to spot re-stain to get the color back to matching the surrounding area.
