There are several building departments that now require homes with slabs and basements to have a radon system "roughed in".
They must be in on the scam too. County and City government.

Very low class for someone with supposedly 20+ years of professional experience!
Drawing attention to shear parenting lunacy doesn't require 20 years of experience in any field of endeavor. Any parent who allowed their child to play in asbestos insulation or around malathion, lead paint, polychlorbiphenyls, and a host of other carcinogens while housing them in a house full of smokers as you claim your parents did should have their head examined and face charges of parental abuse/neglect. While you may have found it humorous to openly post that your parents permitted you to play and live in the health hazardous environment you described most parents posting on here probably cringed at the thought of their child being knowingly exposed to that type of atmosphere. Parents are there to protect their children from harm and provide for their mental and physical welfare. "Different beliefs" doesn't shield anyone from child abuse charges nor is it low class to point out this abuse in the hopes of providing education that might save a child from the abuse and neglect you apparently suffered.

Is it "verified" or "estimates"? Please point us to the "unbiased and accurate proof" (i.e. verifiable, quantifiable, however you would like to say it) studies that state specifically that radon is killing "X" number of people.

So far all we hear is a little clucking while the sky is blue and still hanging overhead.

You are correct.......in New Jersey its geographically zoned into 3 Tiers....Tier 1 being of highest radon incidence. In this zone the "radon hazard sub-code" is required in all new construction.....a 16 step process for the installation of a complete "passive" radon system to be installed which can be "activated" by a licensed radon specialist if testing shows elevated radon levels when construction is complete. Your right.....this conspiracy has no limits !!!!

You actually just don't get it do you?! From your picture I expect you are old enough to have grown up around these same items before they were all considered to be significantly hazardous. Of course your words above only display that you probably had little idea then, as now, just what I was referring to.

Cluck, cluck, cluck! Is the sky falling yet?

I told you once already.......EPA literature states 20,000 deaths a year from radon exposure........I'm sorry but they didn't provide their names and addresses !!!

How about posting a link to these requirements on the city WEB sites? To help you out take a look at their city planning and/or building departments pages. You might find the requirements there.

Cluck, cluck, cluck. It is dark out now but the stars are still up there!
