I am researching some property and it seems some of them have udorthent type soil. I do see houses on these properties which apparently also have a septic system in place. Researching the topic, I found that these soils drain very well so I guess that its okay for septic but my question is the quality of this soil for building a house. Is it suitable?

Default Udorthent soil

As I understand it, "udorthent" soil is any number of types of gravelly topfill placed back after the native surface has been removed. So, you need to be a bit more specific - what is the replacement topfill? Gravel, sand, old concrete with gravel filler, etc.? Also, the substratum - what's under the topfill - will be important to know as well.
