My frost-free fridge was beginning to waft out a very strong "dusty" smell of freezer. So I turned on my vacuum, and wafted the end of the hose around in there for a few minutes. I think it helped quite a lot. Never turned it off, or took anything out of it---just sucked the stale old air out of it and let in new.

Default Yeah that makes sense.............

I had this old GF who said she always felt Fresh after flushing the toilet. She used to flush it as soon as she went into the bathroom. Works like a charm. A girl sure don't want no dusty freezer in the house.

Funny, but I always found that cleaning the refrigerator/freezer with hot soapy water and then rinsing it well did the trick to make it smell nice.

I spent and hour and a half yesterday, taking the drawers and glass shelves out of my fridge to clean them... WOW, was I surprised to see what was underneath!!! My fridge is only three years old and I keep it pretty clean (or thought I did)... It is spotless now, and smells great! And yes, Baking Soda works perfect to zap odors, but a deep cleaning is probably the best!

I have to admit to having vacuumed the fridge. It was clean but, hubby spilt some fried chicken crumbs and they make them now it is really difficult to wipe them out-so out comes the hoover and presto - quick clean up.

This could be risky. You might sprain your ankle next week.
