Can anyone give me some insight on what is better to have? A side by side tub for two, or a corner tub for two?

Not sure if this answers your question but we have a triangle shaped tub with jets. Instead of being deep it is wide. I hate it. In order for one person to use it (which is the way it is used 99.99% of the time), you have to add so much water to get it filled high, because it is so wide. I would much rather have a deep tub rather than a spacious tub.

Think about having to clean that two person tub. If you are small or have short arms, getting the opposite side without actually getting into the tub is impossible. You do want to clean it from time to time, don't you?

Hmm, very good points.
We wanted a spacious tub because ours never gets used because it is just too small to really stretch out and relax and definitely too small for two people. We just have a soaking tub - are jets worth it?

we have the triangle tub....i hate it. you have to sit up in it which isn't too relaxing. If i could pick I would have one that has an area to recline.

We had a corner tub amd hated it!
Took too much water to fill and by thetime it was full the water was cold. Also a royal pain in the bum to clean without breaking your back.
If you could posititon tub so that both sides are accessible then I would go for a side by side if you're determined to have a 2 person.
Personally I like roll top baths with feet-they are super deep but not really room for 2, unless you are ultra small and faucets are in the middle!
